Box o' Sox, Take Two and Three

Little Ford's Box o' Sox is coming along nicely. I finished the second pair Wednesday.

And the third pair today.

Today was World Wide Knit in Public Day, and we couldn't have had nicer weather for it. I missed the first leg, which was held in DeWitt at Lavender and Peonies. I just couldn't bring myself to go back there so close to the end of school. But I made it for the second leg, held at Patriarche Park, sponsored by Rae of Rae's Yarn Boutique and Nancy of Woven Art. We ended up at Threadbear for the third leg, where Rob insisted that if we sat close to the north side of the building the shade would grow (he was wrong) and who managed to singe his arm hair cooking burgers and dogs for us.

Good times.

Wasn't that fun?
I am glad you could make it. Did you participate in Jumbo knitting at Patriarche?

It was great fun. It was such a gorgeous day. I didn't participate in Jumbo Knitting but had fun watching the others. Where does one get a set of knitting needles that enormous?
