Christmas for Small Children

First off, I hope everyone had a merry Christmas! I've been out of the loop for about a week while in North Carolina. Dad has snail-speed internet, so while blogging and logging onto Ravelry haven't been impossible, they have not been easy. Time was much better spent knitting than waiting for web pages to load.

Small Children are opening their presents from me today, so I finally feel like it's safe to post some pictures of what I've been working on the past few weeks.

Colors are true in the bottom photo.

Aren't these the sweetest little sets? I made them to complement these pink down vests. Little do the girls know that these are a throwback to the Izod era, but perhaps this is fitting for two little girls who live on Capitol Hill.

The buttons are so sweet. I got them from Aimoobaroo. Her shop is closed now, but will be reopening on January 4, so if you knit and craft for small children, her shop is well worth checking out.

Remember this hat?

I am proud to report that Small Child #3's hat from last year finally fits him, so he did not receive handknits this year. He did, however, get a puffy vest. Now I just have to wait for the SIL to send me pictures!
