The owner has until September 9 to fix the problems and get a certificate of compliance. If this is not done by September 9, the city can order the occupants to vacate.

The renters vacated—yesterday, September 5.

The house and lawn are in even worse shape than before. And now empty.

The current owner is Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, which as best I can tell is a subsidiary of Freddie Mac.

Uh-oh.
