Hello, all. Sorry that I have been away from the blog for the week. I was posting fast and furiously during the Ravelympics, and I just needed a break from it all.
Ravelympics wrapped up with me finishing my Red Rivulets socks in the eleventh hour. Literally. I cast off at 11:54 P.M. EST on February 28. Although, if you use a 24-hour clock, it's really the 23rd hour.
But I digress. Here come the pretty pictures...
I do love this pair of lacy red socks. How fitting in February.
The best part is that I bought the yarn this past summer at the ThreadBear Fiber Arts garage sale for $5.00.
In hindsight, I wish I had selected one big project to work on for the duration of the games. I think I would have felt like I accomplished more. Next time I am going to challenge myself with a large project or new technique.
Still, I medaled in seven events. Not bad.

Seven medals matches Michael Phelps in the Summer Games, but you are still behind Apollo in the Winter Games!
Love the socks...and the shoes.
