Where I've Been

A whole month without blogging. Wow. I guess I needed that break. I learned something from trying to post so frequently during the Ravelympics: blogging isn't fun when you overdo it. I could never be one of those bloggers that posts every day. Anyway, now that I've been away for a while, I feel like getting back to it.

So what have I been up to this past month? I've been...

... hanging out with Small Children in D.C.

... trying to rejuvenate the Barn Raising Quilt KAL at my LYS by knitting some shop samples.

... watching entirely too much TV, including season seven of 24.

... knitting all sorts of socks.

... finishing a long overdue baby gift.

... trying to convince my mother that she isn't allergic to wool, discovering that I was wrong, and finding suitable sock yarn for her.

... thinking about spring yard cleanup but not accomplishing much.

... grading 105 seventh grade research papers.

... inspired by this and dreaming of knitting something similar.

... resting during my spring break!

I like that hexagon blanket! Although I think I would have to crochet it. I dare not take on knitting a bunch of hexagons for fear I'd probably never finish (evident by my lack of progress on the sock yarn blanket!).
